At Warehouse Tracker, we take your privacy seriously. This document outlines how we collect, encrypt, and secure your personal and organizational data to keep your inventory management safe and compliant.
1. Introduction
Warehouse Tracker ("we", "our", or "us") provides a dynamic product inventory dashboard, variant manager, transaction auditing, and organization controls. This Privacy Policy details how we handle the personal information of organization administrators, staff, and invitees. By using our mobile application or related services, you consent to the processing of your data as defined in this policy.
2. Data Collection
In order to provide our inventory management and user-invitation system, we collect and process the following classifications of data:
User & Admin Account PII
Full Name, Username/Email Address, Contact Phone Numbers, and Password credentials.
Organization Profile Details
Organization Name, Location (State and Country), Business Email Address, and Contact Number.
Inventory Data
Product lists, variant names/sizes, quantity types, stock transaction history, and custom transaction log notes.
Contacts Information (Optional)
With your permission, the app accesses local device contacts exclusively to help you select phone numbers when generating team invitations via WhatsApp. This contact data is processed locally on-device and is never uploaded or sent to our servers.
3. Data Encryption & Security
We apply bank-grade security protocols to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or leakage.
AES-256 Encryption at Rest
All sensitive PII database fields, including passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, and invitation emails, are encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC encryption.
Secure Transport (HTTPS)
All data exchanged between the mobile app client and the remote servers is transmitted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS) protocols to prevent intercept attacks.
4. How We Use Data & Third-Party Integration
We process the collected data for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your organization account and credentials.
- Verifying new organization registrations via security OTP validation.
- Providing dynamic metrics and transaction reports (e.g. PDF exports).
- Authorizing role-based actions (e.g., restricting invitation creation to admin users).
- Analyzing app performance metrics (using anonymous Firebase Analytics).
Analytics, Third-Party Tools & Advertising Disclosures
To help maintain, secure, and optimize our services, we use third-party development tools and platforms, specifically Google Analytics and Firebase. While in-app advertising/ads are not implemented currently in the application, the app structure reserves the capacity to integrate ad delivery channels in future versions.
User account details, setup locations, database metrics, and anonymous analytics information may be used for system auditing, troubleshooting, and overall performance analysis. The Warehouse Tracker App and its affiliates reserve the full right to process and make use of this information to generate meaningful aggregate outputs, system diagnostics, and functional updates.
Our Commitment Against Selling Data: We treat your inventory and profile data with complete confidentiality. Under no circumstances will your personal credentials, contact numbers, organization records, or analytics details be sold to third parties for direct monetary gain.
5. Your Rights & Control
Depending on your country of residence, you have specific data control rights:
- Access: You can view your credentials and edit your profile details at any time in the app's Profile screen.
- Correction: You can edit incorrect organization details or contact numbers.
- Deletion: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated organizational data.
6. Account Deletion Request
Under Google Play regulations, if you wish to terminate your account, you can submit a deletion request. This action is permanent and will completely remove your admin profile, user accounts, and all inventory records from our systems.
